A maritime service association commissioned a commemorative coin for its annual awards — something that felt substantial in the hand and captured a detailed ship relief without losing crispness.
How we built it
We die-struck the coins in zinc alloy, sculpted the vessel in true 3D relief, and finished them with antique silver plating and five hand-filled enamel colors. A rope-cut edge and recessed backstamp added the finishing marks of a collector-grade piece.
The result
1,500 numbered coins shipped in 17 days, each in an individual acrylic capsule — the sculpted reverse drew the most attention at the ceremony.
