A heritage airline reviving a retro livery wanted an embroidered crest for crew uniforms that honored the original 1970s emblem while meeting modern durability standards.
How we built it
We digitized the archival artwork and rebuilt it for clean stitching, matching seven thread colors to the original palette and framing it in a smooth merrow border. High-coverage embroidery on a wool-blend twill gave the crest a premium, tailored feel for blazers and caps.
The result
8,000 crests delivered in 20 days, colorfast through 100+ wash cycles — the revived emblem became a signature detail of the airline’s relaunch.
